About ‘Indian State Level Basic Environmental Information Data Base’ (ISBEID)

It is a web enabled software having 24 different modules on all the sectors of environment of our state. Data for the various modules have been collected by Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board from various departments and organizations and entered into the software data base using web interface through the ENVIS web site. This data base will help any person to generate modular or inter modular reports on the environmental status of our state. The data base will also be used for writing/ updating the State of Environment Report (SoER) being prepared by the State Board. The data base is ultimately proposed to be interface with GIS at a later stage through which it will be possible to generate interactive maps also.
